Job Description:

• The Medical Assistant will work within a Family Medicine practice within a large DMV area healthcare organization.

• Responsible for handling prior authorizations, rooming patients, and scribing for the provider.

• The Medical Assistant will take patient vital signs, triage patients, complete EKGs, and enter information into the EMR.

• Must provide a high level of customer service - and assist in providing patients an understanding of their visit.

• Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment!

• This is a contract to hire job opportunity with benefits!

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

• MA Diploma or MA certification

• BLS certification

• 1-3+ years of previous MA experience
