Sodexo is seeking a Project & Implementation Manager - Global Food Service s to Join our dynamic Global Food Services team as we spearhead a transformation journey focused on redefining our ways of working, supporting Sodexo's business and regional food service teams, and championing sustainable development.

This is a remote role with the preferred candidate able to work Eastern Standard Time Zone hours

We're seeking a Project & Implementation Manager - Global Food Services to play a pivotal role in implementing initiatives aimed at enhancing our culinary performance, innovating, and integrating food processes, and driving global food transformation. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the implementation of new processes and tools, as well as designing more efficient ways of working within our food services organization. This role involves close collaboration with fellow members of the Global Food Services team and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, effective, and budget-conscious project delivery. Alongside overseeing a portfolio of projects, the ideal candidate will define methodologies, foster connections, and cultivate communication among multidisciplinary teams to advance action plans, facilitate knowledge transfer, and drive efficiency gains.

The right candidate must possess a diverse skill set encompassing business acumen, technical proficiency, organizational prowess, and exceptional communication abilities.

The successful candidate will:

  • Contribute to the deployment of Food Services strategy through the implementation of projects and foster food services teams’ sense of ownership to achieve our ambition.

  • Be the process owner for the project management process including creating plans to build and launch key food processes and projects and quarterly progress reviews.

  • Assist in tracking and developing communications and presentations related to initiatives status, KPIs, critical path activity timing, resources required and related issues and/or risks.

  • Identify project risks to develop and help with mitigation solutions and definition of action plans.

  • Establish and manage structured interface framework through planning and deployment dialogue and ways of working that enable alignment, understanding and implementation of priorities, and key business processes.

  • Help to guide and enhance close partnerships with stakeholders across the organization on all aspects of Global Food Services’ mission and projects to ensure awareness and understanding.

  • Act as an advocate for best practices in project management.

  • Manage and advance the Food Hub central repository, materials and methods.

  • Actively participates in the PMO community.

  • Support with the management and governance of the Food Professional Families

Is this the right opportunity for you? We are seeking candidates that have/are:

  • Previous experience in implementing transformation initiatives in an environment involving organizational change

  • Previous experience in project management (and change management preferred)

  • Ability to develop and tailor communications as appropriate.

  • Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects, including risk management, budget and resource allocation.

  • Proven track record with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in project planning and administration

  • Ability to leverage collective intelligence across multiple teams and be sensitive to different cultures, thanks to professional facilitation techniques.

  • Organized and delivery focused.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Food industry experience preferred.
