Microsoft Corporation Senior Program Manager in Atlanta, Georgia

Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is seeking a Senior Program Manager to support the Infrastructure Planning and Acquisition organization. CO+I is responsible for planning, building and operating Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure datacenters across the globe. The organizational scope includes demand and supply planning, business operations and strategic acquisition and prepositioning across land, power, and networking. To help us accelerate our growth objectives and transformation, we are looking for a capable Senior Program Manager. Responsibilities

  • Determines and leads process improvements to quickly scope insights. Ensures alignment between internal stakeholders to land infrastructure global plan (Energy, land acquisition and network)

  • Collaborates with others to ensure data integrity and identify opportunities through automation.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive reporting system and tools to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborates with others to track, coordinate, and communicate end-to-end project schedules for multiple feature areas.

  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and leading initiatives from conception to completion.

  • Lead cross-functional v-teams to execute complex, multi-faceted programs and projects related to cloud infrastructure globally.

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

  • 2+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., VBA, SQL, Python, ).

  • 4+ years in running complex projects at a global scale.

  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
