Administrative Operations Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for ELC. Develop and standardize procedures and methods to improve and continuously monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of programs and service delivery methods; identify opportunities for improvements and make recommendations to the ELC director.Oversees the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). Responsible for creating courses, placing students into courses, processing updates, and training ELC faculty and students to use Canvas effectively.Serve as the primary contact for the universitys Business Contracts Office. Manage the administration of contracts for ELC programs and services, including academic affiliation agreements, program agreements, and housing/vendor contracts. Responsible for understanding and following university policies and procedures related to contractual arrangements.Submit classroom requests to the Office of the Registrar each semester based on identified needs for space, assign faculty to classrooms, and communicate information accordingly.Oversee ELC courses offered for university credit, including liaising with the Office of the Registrars course schedule production and academic technology offices to list and maintain ELC courses and manage enrollment.Administer course and instructor surveys for all non-credit courses each semester; compile and analyze data for annual faculty performance evaluations; compile evaluation data for customized programs.Coordinate the administrative components of program and grant proposals.Compile data and make recommendations based on analysis of information; prepare comprehensive records and reports.Stay current with new trends and innovations in the field; learn and apply new technologies to create greater efficiencies across the unit.Human ResourcesAssure a high level of instructional quality by managing the recruiting and hiring process of new faculty and staff. Provide onboarding and training of new employees.Work in close collaboration with Texas Globals Human Resources and Financial and Business Services teams to ensure appropriate assignments.Supervise and train student employees not assigned to customized programs.Approve timesheets for student employees and current faculty in other departments with assignments on ELC customized programs.Program Development and Administration Conduct business development in the Austin area market and promote customized programs to prospective clients. Design proposals based on requested classes and course schedules.Manage contracted programs conducted on campus and in the Austin area; coordinate communication, logistics, billing, and reports.Leadership and Administrative Management Provide vision and leadership to the ELC team at large, communicating regular updates and information to ELC faculty and staff. Serve as an active member of the ELC leadership team to implement unit goals per the vision and mission of ELC and Texas Global.Determine the administrative calendar and plan for the execution of tasks for smooth workflow. Prepare a comprehensive agenda for faculty meetings/professional development.Teaching Responsibilities Serve as a substitute instructor for ELC faculty unable to teach their assigned classes on a given day/days due to unanticipated circumstances.
