We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey. The role involves coordinating and executing financial transactions, assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports, and collaborating with the accounting team to improve financial processes. The individual will be working in a professional environment within the telecom provider industry.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and execute financial transactions and activities such as bill payment, invoicing, and payroll

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports

• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations

• Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial processes

• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

• Use accounting software (QuickBooks) proficiently

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and invoice processing tasks

• Perform account reconciliation tasks as necessary

• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes

• Participate in billing activities and procedures

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting clerk role or similar

• Proficiency in account reconciliation

• Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of billing and invoice processing

• Strong data entry skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
