Lincoln Tech in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Diesel Technicians who are ready to share their skills as an Instructor in our Republic Services Custom program. This role will be responsible for preparing and delivering quality instruction as well as motivating and providing support to successfully prepare students for a career in the field. This is an exciting opportunity with our partner, Republic Services, for technicians who are enthusiastic about the industry to share their knowledge and experience with the next generation of automotive professionals. $1,500 Sign-on Bonus!*

Key Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Heavy Equipment Technician experience

• Komatsu or Caterpillar preferred

• ASE's (current or expired)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare training materials, classroom, and workshop

• Facilitate training activities based on learning objectives

• Verify student competency of training objectives, and identify students in need of additional training

• Facilitate training of additional skills outside training objectives i.e.: shop cleaning, training supplies care and organization, proper care of vehicles while not in use, tool organization, etc.

• Ability to use multiple forms of training tools: Hands on, PowerPoint, online modules, student led review sessions, Instructor led training, etc.

• Ensure all training materials, aids and equipment are in working order and returned to their proper location.

• Effective communication skills

• Highly organized

• Basic computer skills

• High School or GED

• Valid Drivers License
