Ground Instructor The company operates a flight school. We are seeking candidates with a valid FAA GROUND INSTRUCTOR License, Instrument Ground Instructor License with a Certified Flight Instructor License including instrument rating and Multi-Engine instructor license. He/She will Instructor students pilots at Washington International Flight Academy (WIFA). Flight Instructors teach students how to fly aircraft safely. They teach students safety rules and basic principles of flight and aircraft operation. They teach students about flight conditions, Instruments in the cockpit, landing, takeoff and how to check all the systems aboard the plane. He will help develop curricula, instruct students in a classroom setting, conduct training flights, determine students proficiency, report on student progress and develop new teaching methods. He will be responsible for training students in a subject such as aircraft systems, operation procedures, handling emergencies, problem analysis, aircraft navigation, radio operation and aerodynamics, 10 months of experience required. Must have experience in being a ground instructor and teaching aviation to students.
