Job Description:

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate though-leadership across areas of income tax, including income tax provision, tax compliance, and internal management reporting.

  • Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors based on industry knowledge and client business requirements.

  • Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.

  • Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on various matters. The ability to articulate where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approaches due to complex scenarios.

  • Actively participate in client request for proposals, providing leading practices, solution recommendations, and estimated efforts.

  • Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in any of the following: Financial Accounting and Reporting including Consolidation, Tax Accounting and Reporting including Consolidation

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Direct Tax Technology solution implementation (Oracle, Thomson Reuters OneSource, CorpTax, Longview, Tagetik, OneStream)

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Direct Tax Sensitization of ERP in any of the following; (SAP, S4, Oracle) and Enterprise Data (Chart of Accountants, Parallel Ledger, Asset Accounting, Purchasing and Sales, Time Sheet and Payroll, Investments, Treasury, etc.)

  • Bachelor Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • University degree with Finance / Statistics / Economics / Accounting with a Chartered Accountant – Certified Public Accountant qualification

  • Good understanding of the Direct Tax Technology landscape, trends and architecture

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Close processes in a multinational corporate environment

  • 5+ years of experience in Direct Tax Requirements Management and/or Project Management for the implementation of Direct Tax solutions

  • SQL and / or Python knowledge

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.
