As Head of Service, you will take overall responsibility for Service Business within the South Branch, including financial performance, customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, employee engagement and development. You will be a member of the management team, and will have a team of Area Service Managers and Small Works Project Managers.

You will need to be based in the South of UK and will be required to travel to visit customers regularly and also travel to our Farnborough site.

We deliver integrated control and building technology solutions across varied and complex customer facilities and buildings. Typical projects include the design and build of new construction site installations, refurbishments and asset refresh solutions. Technologies will include complex integrated Security systems (CCTV, Perimeter protection, access control intruder protection) Fire detection systems, building management systems, associated cabling equipment and integration with others.

You’ll make a difference by:

• Ensures overall customer satisfaction & loyalty.

• Responsible for employee engagement and development.

• Ensures implementation of and adherence to strategies, policies, processes, and methods for Service operations activities (technically and/or commercially), for assigned organisational unit.

• Drive continuous improvement of Service business driving efficiency, digitalisation, and introduction of new Service offerings.

• As a member of the Branch Management team support the Branch Manager in developing and executing the Branch strategy and actively collaborate with the rest of the Management team.

• Works closely with the Service Sales team to strengthen customer relationships.

• Ensure that the Service business on an overall portfolio basis delivers in line with the financial targets.

• Ensure that a resource plan is in place considering both backlog and sales funnel and take appropriate actions e.g. training plans, recruitment, downsizing etc.

• Undertake regular Service reviews to drive performance and adherence to policy.

You’ll bring your existing expertise, including:

· Experience leading effective teams

· Experience leading and developing people with ability to inspire and motivate colleagues

· Experience managing transformation projects / continuous improvement initiatives

  • Excellent knowledge of the market sector and experience with our products and solutions to implement services and solutions (Fire, Security and BMS).

  • Ability to build partnerships with key customers to better understand their needs and priorities
