CAE USA INC C-GM-100-Project Management with Continuous Improvement Intern in Multiple, Canada

Role and Responsibilities

This position is exclusively open to students in the process of obtaining an academic degree

Internship date : Mid June to September 6th

The role we are offering you: By joining our Major Project management in Continuous Improvement team, you will have the opportunity to improve our production of simulators, tools and processes. Our main mission is to guide our customers in the development, production and execution of innovative and Lean solutions in partnership with a multidisciplinary team.

Are you ready to:

  • Implement various process improvement projects within the hardware engineering and manufacturing sectors

  • Develop projects in aeronautic and medical equipment

  • Support teams in various manufacturing sectors in order to achieve operational goalsCoordinate activities related to various projects

  • Apply Lean concepts and methodology in all tasksPurchase equipment and manage a budget relatedPerform production line start up by applying cell and 6S lean concept

  • Support digital solution deployment

Our ideal candidate is:

  • Passionate for teamwork and has abilities with leadership, autonomy and a sense of initiative

  • Able to understand, write and speak in both official languages (French and English)

  • Able to understand industrial engineering concepts (an asset)

    Preferred E ducation

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Industrial engineering , mechanical engineering or other related field

    Location of the internship is Montreal .

    Internship will be carried hybrid

    *All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years .

    *Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 12 weeks.
