Machinist mate preferred

Description:

-Conducting diesel engine repairs, rebuilds, and overhauls as well as other types of engines

-Assist in tearing down, repairing, replacing, and installing reduction gears

-Working on Large Mechanical Systems and heavy equipment by staging equipment and material, bolting up equipment, installing equipment and machinery

-Assist in replacing the Stern Gate

-Assist in repairing the Steering Ram

• Conduct generator repairs, rebuilds and overhauls

-Responsible for repairing deck equipment and deck machinery

Skills:

1st class, 2nd class, first class, second class, machinist, Outside Machinist. Machinist Mate, pump, valve, blueprints, prints, assembly, disassemble, repair, overhaul, disassembly
