Summer Lead Squash Instructor

Job Description Summary

Summer Lead Squash Instructor will create and implement a fun filled camp experience for junior squash players of all levels. This person will be responsible for developing daily game plans that include squash fundamentals (e.g., stroke production, rules of play, tactics, and sportsmanship/court etiquette). In addition the Lead Squash Instructor will have administrative duties of collecting waivers and other documents required to be completed by each camper. Managing a staff of junior instructors is also a weekly responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing and coaching on-court and fitness drills for campers participating in Penn Summer Squash Academy. Creating a fun and educational experience for campers of all levels.

  • Managing a staff of junior instructors that are to assist summer squash instructor weekly. Provide guidance to junior instructors as to how to implement drills and games played by campers. Emphasize the importance of safety for all campers and preparing courts with all needed equipment.

  • Greeting parents during both drop-off and pick-up daily.Will need to wait and ensure that all campers have been picked up/signed out by a parent/guardian daily.

  • Administrative Duties – the collection of all waivers, insurance/health forms, and paperwork that needs to be collected from participants.

$7.25 - $60.00 Hourly Rate
